Today, we released a new edition of our Multi-Vendor software. Meet Multi-Vendor Plus! It has 7 extra features that are exclusive to this edition and not available for the standard Multi-Vendor.
Multi-Vendor Plus is a software solution for larger online marketplaces with bigger income and budgets. It is also more expensive than the standard edition.
I have said this before and repeating again, keep adding new features doesn't do you much good without modern re-design of vendor backend, shipping methods and other basic market place functions..
To maximize user adaptation and make profits CS-cart should have made each add-on available individually and discount the price when purchased all 7 together. e.g. each add-on $400 separately but when bought together in a package $2000.
More than money what is important is that more users use some of these features to ensure all bugs are found and fixed.

Here my issue:
1 - don't need it
2 - don't need it
3 - don't need it
4 - good to have
5 - don't need it
6 - good to have
7 - Need it
So basically I will be paying $1600 for one feature or three features if i end up using all three

I agree, why don't you just create an add-on for us to buy after all we are your customers if your intention is additional profits. Can you not make our life easier and be considerate? Just saying....

i agree with you fbranjo
All is needed sometimes. I think all cs-cart users already start looking at other ecommerce software for this reason.
I am very disappointed. As you can see on the "Roadmap" was showing what planning to add:
Separate checkout for each vendor [Multi-Vendor]
Configurable become a seller form [Multi-Vendor]
Checkout refactoring - make it modern and clear
Promotions optimization to work fine for vendors [Multi-Vendor]
Multiple warehouses
For that reason I have upgraded the "Multivendor" licence. Otherwise I wouldn't need, because nothing new implement. Next time I will be more careful. :)
My advice for the third party developers, now you have a big room to create some useful cheaper similar add-ons and people will buy it.
Yeap don't spend $2000, buy the add-ons you need $100 each..easy sale.

Unless you are running a site where a single vendor's product is probably the only one (or multiples) in your cart (like a vacation rental site, etc.), why would you ever want to force a customer to go through a separate checkout process for every vendor who has items in their cart? And if you are running a vacation rental (or similar) site then your customers would rarely ever see multiple checkouts anyway. None of the major marketplace players implement like this (Amazon, etc) and from a customer perspective, I'd leave after seeing my first checkout didn't include all that I ordered (having a separate shipping section is fine - separate payment methods should be optional).
If you have a different perspective on this, I'd really like to hear the advantage of having a customer do multiple checkouts for products they've added to their cart.
What's needed (from my customer feedback and development requests) is:

What's needed (from my customer feedback and development requests) is:
2) Vendor promotions on their products (catalog promotions including free shipping).
3) Configurable signup data including legal documents like TOS, licensing, tax and other business legal agreements, etc.
4) Implement the "suppliers" addon (multiple warehouses) within the context of a vendor.
5) Ability to assign tax to vendor or merchant for payment (right now, it's part of the commissioned amount which is just wrong).
Please confirm that your add-on EZ Vendor Plans Plus work with 4.9.1.
Few points also: can someone tell me how you monetize with your standard (without modification and additional add-on) multivendor?
My answer is - only percentage and/if subscription. Even surcharge was removed from vendors. And NOT added category commision to standard multivendor???
For me looks like will not be any point to upgrading licence, better to invest those money to add-ons and developers for modifications.
Well, I don't want the hassle of approving multiple checkouts and waging potential wars with the PP refund requests. Mobile application is also a must. This is why I purchased MV+
Yet I am going to disallow vendors to change the look of their store. Don't want a bazar fleamarket.
But I agree, multiple storefronts for that price would be much more fair.

Otherwise one gets the impression that instead of getting support, one is offering support in the form of quality assessment and crash testing - and is paying for that privilege, instead of being paid.
As for the first, the multi-vendor addon supposedly working for all storefronts is not quite the same as the true MV CS-Cart. The price of the mobile addon is very impressive, not commenting the other addons...
It is well known that the whole is always bigger than the sum of its parts.

It is well known that the whole is always bigger than the sum of its parts --- when you have first 10 vendor sales I will believe it until then I will consider it just an opinion.
