Hi Frank, PM me your order number or email address used and I’ll email you the RC1 release of the Quote/Invoicing Addon for you to test, we will officially release the QI Addon probably mid-week this coming week. Well folks we’ve reached our goal. I will get some of the few remaining questions answered for you guys and then we’ll collect donations, Thank You all for making this happen.

We’ll work this out with the developers and I’m not sure if we’ll be able to use the standard products options for this or not. For example using the engraving mode to engrave namesplates a brass nameplate would cost more then an aluminum nameplate, so I’m assuming when the customer picks brass the system will calculate correctly and that their will be a “cost” field for this when uploading the product in the admin panel - Sno

I would be interested in a licence if the product designer add on does the following:
- select embroidery text from a pop-up window (?) and calculate cost per characters choosen.
- customers enter their own embroidery text and cost is calculated per character

Hi Chris, I will ask the developers what they are planning about this, I’m sure it’s possible. If anyone else needs some sort of specialty functionality we need to know so we can let the developers know. I charge a flat rate for my engraving regardless of how many letters but I can see where others may want to charge a per letter fee, so I can see that their will need to be some kind of pricing structure format. I will check into this - Sno
I can give up 1 or 2 for now if it helps others get one Sno if its needed. I can pick another 2 up later when ready.

Good Idea, I’m sure we can have the “design” saved to pdf no problem. If we were to do this I would like the system to watermark the “design” so that customers would not send products designed with our addon to a competitor for quote, Thanks - Sno

I’ll definitely be in on this one.
Just thinking about the possibility of setting this system up for greeting cards design, but I am not 100% sure how this module is supposed to work. Will it be possible to have background images with pre-positioned text and image frames/holders. The customer then fills in the text field or uploads an image and presses “update” and the changes occur on the background template. Changes to font family, font colour, font size and text/image re-positioning can also be done afterwards.
Or will the system work in a way that the customer fills in, for example, the text field, presses “add” and then has to manually position the text on the background image afterwards.
