I would like to tell you about small improvements made in our Affiliate and Referral add-on:
- The Affiliate link has been added to the footer of the store.
- The default plan for customers has been added when installing the add-on.
- The ability to show the product price on the the product banner has been added.
- The ability to pay commissions to the affiliate for a user who creates an account by a referral link and changes the account status to the Affiliate has been added. Also this new user is assigned to the affiliate tree.
- Any customer can be an affiliate now.
- The Affiliate link is always available in the My Account menu now. If the user is logged in, this link leads to the affiliate account, otherwise to the login page.
- If the Allow all customers to be affiliates setting is disabled in the add-on's settings, the Affiliate link leads to the account with a changed user type. The user should save the page to apply the changes.
- Some add-on settings have been renamed for the Russian localization.
- The add-on did not work properly with the Buy Product Link add-on enabled. Fixed.
- The shareable link reported the 404 error when the 'Show language in the URL' setting of the default SEO add-on was enabled. Fixed.

We have added new The affiliate link does not apply for registered users setting in the Affiliate and Referral add-on settings:
If the setting is enabled, affiliates will not get rewards for registered users, except for those who were registered by their referral link. It means that if customer was registered earlier without referral link, affiliates will not get commissions even if this customer comes to the store by their link.

I am very much interested in this addon but it seems to be dependent on Rewards Points; the latter however does not work with the Direct Customer to Vendor Payments module for MV Plus.
Do you have any working solution for this problem?

There are 2 types of affiliates in our add-on - super affiliates and usual customers. Super affiliates can use all functionality of affiliate program and get commission in money. But usual customers can use only some of the functionality and get commission only in reward points. "Allow all customers to be affiliates" setting enables affiliate program for usual customers, that's why it depends on reward points add-on. The add-on will work correctly without reward points add-on, but you will have only super affiliates.

We have changed the logic of tracking visitors clicks and banner views. Now the following parameters control the uniqueness of the click: banner ID, partner ID, customer IP, unique click time, banner view time. Earlier the banner view/click was tracked by customer IP only, it means that if customer clicked 2 different banners, only 1 click was counted.
