I just installed and test a little bit with the affiliate option. Is there a way to let the affiliate partner to login and check there status i.e. how much commssion they have make, how man sale etc…?
Regarding the “Feature Comparison” feature, there are a couple of places that you can choose settings.
First, you select whether you want an AJAX version or regular version of the “Add To Compare List” button. This is under Settings → Dynamic HTML
Second, each product now has a “Feature comparison” checkbox. This needs to be checked to have the button show.
Third, each product has a features section, which I assume must be completed before anything can be compared.
I have run into some problems, however. I have enabled the feature comparison for a few products and added a feature to each. The compare buttons shows on several pages, however, if the ajax button is enabled, when I click on it, it just shows a “Loading” image and nothing ever happens. If I click on the non-AJAX buttons, the page refreshes, but I do not see any comparison list, or any way to access a comparison list.
I am seeing the same thing. Both the main category and sub category pages do not appear to have a discussion link showing. I have also confirmed Snorocket’s bug report of the discussion link not working on the product information pages.
Update: See next couple of posts for more information.
ETI, I was just going to post that I had found the settings
Just to clarify what you said, each product and category now has a reviews drop-down selection. The products in the demo database appear to be disabled by default. Once you choose one of the enabled options, the discussion link will link to the product reviews section on the product information page. On the category pages, it appears to show a category reviews section.
