the xml sitemap is now an official addon available by default starting in v2.09…

Our sitemap.xml has not refreshed since 04/10 but we have added products to the site.



We have “Daily” set for generator addon.



Any thoughts

Cannot agree more on this!



you could, for example, alter the following line in /addons/google_sitemap/controllers/customer/xmlsitemap.xml (line 25):


$filename = DIR_CACHE . 'sitemap.xml';

becomes:

$filename = DIR_CACHE . 'sitemap-'.CART_LANGUAGE.'.xml';



Furthermore, the main sitemap should contain something like (depending on the active languages:





/de/sitemap.xml


/nl/sitemap.xml


/en/sitemap.xml





Any idea if this will be possible?
