Worth upgrading to 4.x from 3.05?

I'm considering upgrading from 3.05 to 4.x and was wondering wether it is worth the hassle. What are the additional features of 4.x? Is it stable? Faster? Any thoughts apopreciated from those that have or haven't.

You can carry out the upgrade to version 4 and test it as it doesn't delete your older version. If you don't like it for some reason then just keep version 3. 4 is stable and quick enough on the right server.

If you run a commercial store (I.e. an actual business, not a hobby) and your current version meets your business needs, why would you want to upgrade/change (especially just before holidays)?
