Where are the "Best looking" CS-Cart sites?

Hello,

Can someone post me some great looking CS-Cart sites?

I would like to see its possibilities… I haven’t found any that capture my eyes.

I’ve been deciding between Magento and CS-Cart for some time now.

My programmer mainly works with Magento, but the reviews aren’t the greatest due to its early stages. I would like to finally decide. and it seems like might end up selecting Magento because he has not worked with CS-Cart before. I’ve seen some of his sites on Magento and they look nice.

I would like some incite to help me finally make a decision.

Is CS-Cart’s design fully customisable??

For example, I want something looking spiffy like…

http://www.zhitea.com/

http://www.beertees.com/

Those sites are made with Magento, I’m now certain it can look more modern. But all the examples i’ve seen of Cs-Cart look like sites from early 2000 or even 1990s, No offense.

Please show me the possibilites.

Thank you,

Here is our site with a simple design just for a few article http://www.cscart.webdesign-creative.com/

It doesn’t matter which script do you want to use. The sites above (in Magento) are not built from a template, I guess it’s a unique design made for the customer. Probably CS-Cart customers will not pay for a good web designer and coder.

I love this site

But why??

CS- Cart Customers pay for a Shopping Cart but they don’t pay for a unique custom design? Isn’t that a bit strange / silly? You’re paying for a cart for its “awsomeness”, yet you’re using a template that loses most of that “awsomeness”… No offense.

Again… Sorry, by all means don’t take this to offense. I’m a little taken aback by this. I know it’s to save money, obviously. But how much money do you possibly save? Are you guys coding these sites yourselves? If so, that explains it. I wish I could. But no matter what, I have to outsource this work.

I was quoted at a minimum, no matter what work I decide, in the thousands. So I opted for a custom design and decided to pay a bit more, which I’m very fortunate to be able to afford it.

I’m not sure if overseas is a bit more expensive to create a site, which I noticed a lot of the sites posted were not U.S. Sites… (which it shouldn’t be more expensive, considering that labor in most countries is much cheaper than the U.S.) but to save a couple hundred dollars seems a little pointless?..

Thanks for the replies,

CS is 100% fully customisable, just depends on how much time you want to commit to them!!!

The example sites you provide are easily achievable in CS-Cart, but remember the point of an ecommerce is getting people to look at the products and not the pretty website!!!

If you don’t believe me go look at the highstreet fashion brands websites - often you cannot get much simpler!

Hmmm, do you mean pretty products on a horrible designed web site?

I don’t think it will works…

It will work as long as the site is not falling apart and cs-cart does not fall aprt. I seen multi million pound producing websites with a cack design - the products do all the selling

I for the most part agree, your site doesn’t have to be a designers masterpiece to be successful in selling. It does however, need to project a sense of professionalism, as in your product images should be detailed & high quality, and your site should not look as if it was designed by a total beginner & should display error free.
