when the version 4.19.1 will be released
1st quarter of 2025 is what I was told. So some time within the next 5 weeks.
I’m afraid the plans have changed a bit. The 4.19.1 release has now been moved to the 2nd quarter of 2025.
Only one update per year, and the update fee is a huge premium.
These updates better be worth it.
- Improve email system. Right now Microsoft is phasing out basic SMTP (which is what Cs-cart uses).
- Improve the account. It should be professionally implemented and logical. Why should a vendor request to withdraw money when they haven’t sold anything?
- The built-in system notifications are broken. You can’t open them, only mark as read.
The mobile app looks like an app from 2009. Not sure if it’s lack of creative designing or what. Even some cheap apps out there look and feel more modern than Cs-cart’s app and themes.
I’d understand if Cs-cart had 100 other services and products.

Hopefully there will be more in it than the last few 89% decline in new features in each release from 4.13.1 to 4.18.1
The biggest issue with CS-Cart is the lack of a good mobile app.
I’ve been struggling with this for the past four years. From my observations, most CS-Cart users don’t have a mobile app at all. It seems like many users are facing the same problem.
Only a few developers offer mobile apps, and even those are very basic — yet the cost is unreasonably high. This makes it difficult for users to test their ideas or launch an MVP.
When compared to leading CMS platforms like Magento, Shopify, and WooCommerce, CS-Cart falls behind. Those platforms offer multiple, affordable mobile app solutions.
I actually raised this concern four years ago. If your customers are struggling, eventually your platform will struggle too. Over the past year, I’ve even hired two freelancers to develop an app, but I’m still far from a final product.
