$500 ~ $1000 depending if you provide design elements.
I was thinking more around the $500-600 range.
My buddy owns this site and some Joker charged him $2800!!!

My rates (I’ve been told) are excessive for many individuals however you have a personal guarantee behind them. That said, I’m more affordable to businesses/organizations that have a proven platform to work of. The guy you worked with was more than likely unskilled having to put in lots of hours to make it possible and/or scope creep was killing for him.
You may say that your mate got ripped off, but it goes both ways all the time
