Quick curious question — I’m finding the vendor rating addon a bit confusing.
Last week, a vendor had a bronze badge next to their name, but after getting two orders, the badge disappeared. I’ve also noticed other vendors who had badges (but no new sales) have lost theirs too.
It seems to be a pattern — one week certain vendors have badges, and the next week they’re gone, while new vendors suddenly have badges they didn’t have before.
Any idea what’s going on here?
I assume that the rating was recalculated either by a cron script or manually. Those vendors’ ratings have fallen below the set limit.

Why would their rating go down? I would’ve thought that adding products or increasing sales would improve their rating — what would cause it to drop?
I’m not sure why, especially when there’s a user-defined formula for calculating the vendor rating. I totally get it, it’s really hard to come up with a reason without knowing all the inputs.
The inputs I have set are:
manualVendorPlanRating+ paidOrdersCount + paidOrdersTotal + activeProductsCount + vendorReviewsRating
Does that help at all?
Thank you for your reply.
I assume that some other vendors have increased their ratings much more, meaning that those who fall off the bronze and silver lists simply do not fulfil the minimum average rating requirement to remain on those lists.
It may also be that the review or manual rating affected the score.
You can view the current vendors’ rating score on the Vendors > Vendors page.
