I was wondering if there was a change in file permissions on install I don’t remember having to set all files within var to 777 only folders. I only upload with the skin I plan to use so it saves time but i’m sure there are people who upload the entire archive and by FTP having to change that many files and folders takes an incredible amount of time. Unless they have shell access but I don’t think the majority of users do on shared hosting accounts.
