Use 2.2.1 feature in 2.1?

I’m using 2.1.4 MVE and dont wish to upgrade yet to 2.2.1 due to some issues and i dont need new features in 2.2.1…Except for the vendor ratings. Does anyone know a way to hack this feature from 2.2.1?
