Urgent! Paypal Change!

today we have made a check on our system to see if everything was working fine and saw that paypal express does not work fine. it does not pass the data to paypal page.



paypal has changed their payment page and now the product description is on the left side instead of top of the page.



and on the left side (before we used to see the product that was going to be paid by the buyer) there is no product description, name nothing… how can a buyer know what they are paying for???



URGENT FIX NEEDED!!!

check your site also too see the same problem, i dont think we are the only one with the same problem.

Same on my one. PExpress hits the blank page.

Everything seems OK.



In my CS cart checkout page everything is there in detail as it should be.



When you make the PayPal express payment you see only the total as is normal. As long as the totals match what else do you need?



CScart has the details and sends out emails.

This issue has happened 3 times in the past 2 weeks - the blank screen. Luckily, the customers affected have called. How many orders have I potentially lost? I better go and check my stats.



Not all Paypal orders have failed. Just to be sure, I have change back to Paypal standard and tested fine - for the time being. I await more info.

i belive as you are on paypals site , customers should see what they are paying for. yes cscart side is fine, its just the paypal express side thats affected

What are you describing?



Is PayPal express sending product details to Paypal?



My PayPal Express works fine with the total but not the details which would be very nice as the above posters state - although none of my customers have ever complained.

I received an email from Paypal the other day saying they are putting in place a new cart. I understand it is being implemented slowly across different regions. Maybe this may explain why some of us are still ok and others not.



So far after my change back to PP Standard has been error free.

Same problem here with version 2.1.2



Please if there is a fix for this please share it. I don’t see any description or even the cost of the product on the left side.



All i see is “Current Purchase” message.

you can upgrade it to the latest version of cs and it should work better, even though it sometimes gives the same problem.
