These 12 services are free. Most of them, test your site every hour. So register with each of them, one after another, waiting 5 minutes between 2 entries:
60 minutes / 12 Services = 5 minutes
Thus, your website will be tested every 5 minutes
And you can really know if your site is online!
And in a few days, months, years, you can say: My site is online 99.99% of the time!
Nota Bene: You can use these services before signing to a host by following one of the sites hosted on one of its servers!
This FREE service automatically checks your website content, page titles and web server availability every ten minutes, 24/7. If there are any problems, you are alerted immediately via email - your support team doesn’t have to wait for angry customers to complain that they can’t access your web site.
99.9% uptime allows for about 8 hours of downtime a year.
99.99% uptime allows for about 1 minute of downtime a year.
You can’t achive 99.99% uptime with a single server. You must have reduncancy, preferably in separate locations.
So a normal shared server should be able to provide 99.9%, but to get to 99.99% requires a substantial investment and architecture along with ongoing montioring and stafffing.
So be sure you know what you’re asking for and committing to when talking about 9’s.
You need to add this service of this prestigious company: Comodo[/QUOTE]
You mean the prestigious Comodo who got hacked and then again, and actually shouldn’t be selling SSL’s anymore at all because they are proving time and time again that they are totally insecure?

I totally agree with you!

I NEVER write “it’s possible”. I have NO opinion on the subject.
However, some beleive that is possible. Why? Because some “business” make believe, or publish “evidence”(or make publish some testimonials) they reach this staggering rate of 99.99%.
Can you imagine? This company beats Google on the uptime field? Because, the official Google Enterprise Blog writes “Gmail was available 99.984 percent of the time”. Incredible, isn’t it?
Please, Tbirnseth, I have no opinion on the subject. I only provide some public evidence. And a few FREE tips to check the veracity of these allegations to a rate of 99.99%.
Remember, I am NOT a false submarine of a web hosting company
