upgrading to 401

Hi, I'm trying to upgrade my store 3.0.6 to 4.0.3 when I try to carry out the store import it gets stuck half way through and all it says is 'upgrading to 401' ???

is this a bug or do I need to do something?

Thank you for your time and patience. I apologize for the delay in answering.

I examined the log and found out the store import process stops with the following error:

Duplicate entry ‘30578-sl’ for key ‘PRIMARY’ (1062)

on the following query

UPDATE store_import_product_feature_variant_descriptions SET lang_code = ‘sl’ WHERE lang_code = 'SI’Array

It means that the product_feature_variant_descriptions contains duplicate rows. I tried to remove the rows with the features_values_fix.php script which is now located in the root directory of your CS-Cart installation but I faced to the following error:

Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 134217728 bytes exhausted (tried to allocate 103 bytes) in /home/featurew/public_html/core/db/mysql.php on line 97

The PHP information is disabled on your server, so, unfortunately, I failed to examine the reasons for this error.

Also I noticed that there is a range of non-default tables in your database which are used by your CS-Cart software v.3.0.6. Please note that all these tables will not be transferred to the CS-Cart v.4.0.3. If you would like to preserve all these modifications, we can offer you the customization services offered by our affiliate company Simtech Development Ltd (it is our ex-Custom Development department now acting as a separate legal entity). Also, this company has its own Customer Help Desk system located at [url=“Sign in”]https://simtechdev.com/helpdesk[/url]. You already have an account there (the same email address and password that you use for logging in to the CS-Cart Help Desk account at www.cs-cart.com). You can use their Help Desk system for communication regarding the customization services or reply to their messages by sending your emails to the email address sales@simtechdev.com (it is equal, because your emails are automatically imported to your Help Desk account).

If you would like to transfer only default CS-Cart tables, we can do it within our technical support service locally. It will cost you 30 support credits.

OMG… THEY ARE AFTER MORE MONEY… why provide an update that causes so many problems for everyone??

I have just bought another store for a 2nd site, I wish I never bothered I should have gone elsewhere :(

I'm seeing the same “duplicate entry” error when upgrading from 2.2.5 to 4.0.3. Were you ever able to work around it?
