I intend to upgrade from 2.0.6 to 2.0.8 mainly to get the “Hot deal block”
We have not modded any files but I want to backup the store with all settings. ie. blocks, block postions…
Will a normal admin database backup keep all these type of settings?
If not, what type of backup should I do to keep everything just in case the upgrade goes wrong?

just do a full backup from your hosting cpanel account,easy.
