Is the search field visable on the product details screen?
It doesn’t show on mine and a I can’t work out why (it’s in the detault header layout and this isn’t over-ridden in product layout page).
Please share URL where we can check the issue. Possibly, the block is hidden by styles.

It seems you have turned on “View of blocks in tabs” for the grid.
