After installation I got error messages when first time accessing • http://www.my_site.com/index.php - storefront;
• http://www.my_site.com/admin.php - administration panel. I installed again and same error:
Warning: Smarty::include(C:/Inetpub/vhosts/example.com/httpdocs/var/compiled/customer%%45^45E^45E480CD%%index.tpl.php): failed to open stream: No such file or directory in C:\Inetpub\vhosts\example.com\httpdocs\lib\templater\Smarty.class.php on line 1258.
Your permissions are wrong.
There is a lot of talk on the forum about permissions and it kind of depends on what type of server you are on, but I’ll bet if you make your var and sub-folders set to 777 than your error will go away.
