Installed the trial version on the server and changed permissions. However the add to cart button doesn't add to the cart. Also some settings in my admin section don't save.
I've searched all the forums and made made changes still nothing. I also did a fresh install. I want to use this cart but can't get it to work correct.

Please make sure that there is no index.html file in the root directory of your installation. If it is here, try to rename it and check the results.

Hello, I don't have a index.html file in the root. I'm happy to give access to FTP or admin. I did find multiple instances of this in the error_log but not sure if it's related.
Something wrong with ajax. If I disable it, the product is added to cart correctly:
