Two problems regading vendor accounts

Hello, calling all CS Cart MV gurus!
I’m hoping there are solutions for these;
The first is; when viewing a vendors storefront there is a “search by seller products” - I assumed this specifically searched the store I’m visiting. In fact, it searches the entire site which makes it pointless since there is already a site-wide search at the top of the webpage for such purpose. Is there a solution to have a search just for the storefront of each vendor?

And the second is vendor bulk editing. After reading/watching CS Cart videos and documentation, it claims MV has bulk editing but I can only see that within the admin panel and not possible with any vendor account. Is it actually possible for vendors to bulk edit or is it limited to just an admin?

Any help would be appreciated!!

Both features work correctly on the clean Multi-Vendor installation. Looks like there is something wrong with your installation. What Multi-Vendor version and edition do you use?

The version I have is the standard 4.17.1.
The bulk editing is fine. I remembered how to do it - it had been a while.
However, the search within a vendors microstore still only brings up results for the entire website.

Make sure the block name is Vendor search with “Search by vendor products” Template.

I checked that and it’s set for that. However, I just realized I have ecom labs live search installed. I assume that took over all the searches.

Glad that you’ve found the issue.

Is it possible to seperate the two or is it only possible to have 1 search on the site?

You can try to disable 3rd party addon and see if it will solve the issue. Vendor search should not be affected by global search addon.

Yes, deactivating it helped. It would be great to have the live search on the main homepage but have the vendor microstore search work like it should.

Please drop a request on our website. Our specialists will examine the issue

I don’t think it’s an issue if the addon is intended to replace the default search. I assume it’s doing exactly what it was coded to do.
