Trial version has expired

I have purchased a licensed version of CS-Cart but have been using my trial version on my local computer to test any changes I want to make to the templates before making those changes to my actual site as I am not really familiar with smarty templates and am not confident enough to make the changes direct on my site without testing them first.



I wanted to test some more things tonight but am getting the message that my trial version has expired. Is there any way I can get the trial up and running again so I can play around with it?

Copy the config file from server to local and edit your settings i.e. username, pass, etc…

I have tried that but it has made no difference at all. I couldn’t get to the changing user name or password part because as soon as I try to go to [url]http://localhost/cscart/admin.php[/url] I get the message that the Tencoded file C:\xampp\htdocs\cscart\admin.php has expired.



Any more suggestions (or did I do something wrong).

Not sure, but ‘maybe’ check this in your config.php


// DEMO mode
$demo_mode = false;

// Trial mode
$trial_mode = false;

Change the settings directly in the file not through admin.
