This page isn’t working right now contoso.com redirected you too many times

Hi all, I have followed the instructions on Changing Url In Multi Vendor - General / General Questions - CS-Cart Forums

I have completed it. I even deleted the var/cache. Before I hanged the storefront url within the admin panel, when I type the new domain in the web browser, it just redirects to the old domain, which is fine. Now when i change the storefront url to my new domain, I now get the elow error when trying to use the new domain for accessing the website:

This page isn’t working right now

contoso.com redirected you too many times.

  • [Try deleting your cookies]

ERR_TOO_MANY_REDIRECTS

I have tried troubleshooting and rand the below steps:

  • double checked the config.local.php and all updated correct.
  • changed the secure and storefront url with the database manager
  • tried to use the default .htaccess
  • cleared var/cach again
  • tested both ssl cert enabled and disabled
  • HTTPS Redirection enabled.

I still get the same issue. I am using multivendo 4.15.2 and php 8.0.

Has anyone experienced the above issue recently and does anyone know any steps I can take to troubleshoot it?

I am no the most technical person but I do try.

Thanks in advance!

J

Forgot to mention that I have also disabled all the add-ons to test but it was still the same issue

It looks like you changed config files but didn’t run successfully de SQL value modifications in database after domain name change. Try to access your database via phpMyAdmin and find the “storefronts” table if you have multivendor edition. Rename the domain name to new value.

Thanks for the help all. What Eugen suggested about accessing my database via phpMyAdmin and find the “storefronts” helped.

It is now working fine.
