I am experiencing indexing issues on my website related to the Unitheme2 and CS-Cart structure.
Google Search Console is reporting the following error for several URLs (specifically those containing dispatch=products.picker and gift_certificates parameters): ‘Duplicate without user-selected canonical’.
Issue Details: It appears that technical product picker pages and gift certificate selection URLs are being crawled by Googlebot, but they do not contain a proper rel="canonical" tag or a noindex directive. Because these pages have thin content or are very similar to other pages, Google excludes them from the index and marks them as errors.
Even if these pages are managed by the CS-Cart core, as the theme provider, I would appreciate your guidance on:
- Is there a way to inject a
noindextag specifically for these dispatch types within the cs cart environment? - Since these errors affect the overall ‘Crawl Budget’ of my store, do you have a recommended code snippet or a setting to handle these parameters?
