Stripe Random Duplicate Charges

Twice in the last few weeks, customers have told me that their credit card had been charged twice for their order. I went to the stripe dashboard and yes, they were charged twice. The duplicates look identical to the 'real' charge except for the stripe transaction ID.

It seems random. The admin log looks fine. Other orders worked fine.

The two problem orders were placed on 2022-06-18 (#9969) and 2022-07-11 (#10007).

Baffled, I asked the customers if they hit the submit button twice and both said they don't think so.

What could cause this? Note that I'm on csc single user version.
