Strange Addition To Url

Hi



I have just noticed today that we are getting a strange addition/change to our URL's



I know this has just happened because we chescked URL's when we upgraded (4.1.2) to make sure we weren't going to get loads of 404's

WAS…

http://www.equipetab…esting-box.html



NOW…

http://www.equipetab…ml#.UwCo7fsQdvB



This bit… #.UwCo7fsQdvB is differrent on each product/URL

Edit It actually changes each time you visit the same URL!!!



Any ideas please?

Are you use any share Buttons service like Addthis, share this ?

Nothing to do with Google Analytics. It's caused by the AddThis social buttons. Search the forum for AddThis and you'll find many have posted about this same problem with various solutions to the problem. You do have canonical meta tags set so it shouldn't cause too much of a problem, but you should still look into fixing it to avoid dilution of links to your site.
