It would be great if there was an option that instead of showing ‘quantity in stock’ it would show a stock status with a link to a pop-up window showing explanation.
i.e.
In Stock - Product to ship within 24 hours
Production - Material in stock to manufacture. Will take 3-5 business days to ship.
Out of Stock - Product is not in stock but can be back ordered. Usually ships 7 - 10 days.
Special Order - Product will require a special order. Please allow 3 - 4 weeks for delivery.
