State Dropdown Disabled

I’ve been working on this site and noticed when I went to change the company address in the Company area that the drop down that lets you select your state was no longer active. I checked the code and the input field has disabled=“disabled” as an attribute. I went throughout the site and I can no longer select a state in any of the drop downs, back-end or front-end. All are colored out and “disabled.”



And, maybe unrelated, in the Customer Profile fields when you enter to edit the State fields his has type listed as “Telephone”…???



Anyone know what caused this and/or how to fix it?? Thanks!
