Some pretty major checkout problems, need some help

Evening folks,



I am currently running 1.3.4-sp3, can I upgrade straight to the newest 1.3.5SP3? Reason I ask, the cart works relatively fine. I run a few 100 thousand dollars through it, but lately have been getting a large amount of people telling me there cart is always empty no matter what they do, and IE browser users get some annoying warning about some ridiculo0us certificate has expired, much less problems for FF browser users. Any suggestions, Im getting jammed up answering the phone all day taking orders instead of cs-cart doing it for me, thanks

If you need a worry free upgrade let me know.

Sounds as though you’ve got a few bugs, most likely from the database size if anything.



I can’t test your security certificate as I don’t have a URL of yours to test from.

Url is http://www.fordstrokers.com please let me know what you find, I just want this done and out of the way. I have taken 3 orders today by phone because they couldnt check out, cart empty after being filled etc. etc. or this crazy certificate. We all know its secure checkout just want my customers to be assured as well, my orders average 2000 dollars per order

You can see that we’re no longer in 2007, that prompt is what people are shown when the error comes into effect. Internet Explorer users get a prompt to leave the website.



You need another (new) SSL certificate from your hosting company / SSL authority prior to being able to be “secure”.



My first visit also refused to allow me to add to cart, tried 3 times, deleted all my cookies (your customers don’t know how to) and it seemed to work intermittently.

yea I just added a product to the cart, checked out and got the “empty cart” issue on the latest version of FF, did you modify any of the cart, checkout or product templates? if so I’d replace the files you modified and see if the problem exists, another fix is to choose another skin (temporarily) untill you can resolve the problem…

Do you have a test account created?



if so, PM the user/pass and ill do a test checkout process but wont submit the order.

nothing has been modified, all templates are as they come. Its becoming very frustrating.

I did notice when I try to click “login” the site goes from www.fordxxx.com to

fordxxx.com and drops the www.



Is your config.php file set up correctly?



what are your settings for http_location and https_location?

what are your settings for http_location and https_location?[/QUOTE]store has been running for years with no issue, just seem to pop up much more frequently now. Im not sure of the answers to your questions, I can find out though. All that stuff is up to my server gurus

Have they upgraded PHP recently, applied any patches? etc?

switch skins and see if you get the same empty cart issue in another skin…
