Slow MySQL execution

Hello,

Our site crashed multiple times in the last month and half due to MySQL queries executed in longer time than expected. Our hosting company cannot find the source for this mishap. The slow execution results in an Out of Memory and a Crash follows.

Has anyone experienced this type of problems?

Follow-up: This seems to be occurring after an Authorize.net transaction… funny enough Authorize.net recently changed their API.
