I have the google sitemap add-on installed - how do you force it to run/update.
I changed seo paths for some categories and the current sitemap is now outdated.
Thank you

Just go to the addon settings and use the “Regenerate a sitemap” button there
Thank you very much for your reply. I found that, and I used the regenerate button. And I read the docs for the add-on.
When i click on the link at “Sitemap is available by this link”, the data is correct - it has the correct structure and the date is current.
But when I click on the link at “Sitemap can be reached by the url”, it is the old sitemap and old date. When i look at the file on the server to confirm it is old.
How do I get the file from the regen to copy to the correct path? (xyz.com/sitemap.xml)
I could copy it manually from the page the regen generates and create the file in text editor and ftp the file to the server… but there must be an automatic way in cscart? After using regen I do a “Save”.
The add-on shows active, and status is ON.
Thank you again. Adrian
It sounds like the old sitemap file is in the root of your installation.? If so, delete it.
The file that is generated by the add on is in /var/files/[company_id]/google_sitemap/
thetool is right. The file should not exist in the root CS-Cart directory
