How can I show customers the available quantity they can buy? I mean, if I have 25 left, it is very annoying to try every quantity until you work out the maximum that can be ordered. Isnt there a way to add to the product details, “Quantity available: X” ?
crash - not sure what version you are using, but in your product(s), do you 1) have a number entered into the quantity and 2) have the inventory set to track?

Yes you can show quantity on each product. Go to admin section Settings–>Appearance find where it says “Display In stock as a field” and click the field and then save. After this you should be able to see quantity of each product.
