can anyone tell me if the “Editing Plan–>Commission Rates–>Payout Sales” OVERRIDES the settings for individual product sales commissions? (I.e. you click on Products and set the commissions PER PRODUCT on a plan?)
I’d had both set to 50%. 50% for the payout sales value, and 50% for the product itself that I’d given my affiliate a banner link to. When I looked at their sales, I was shocked to see that not only had the single product I’d identified been given the 50% commission, but so had EVERY product a customer had bought during their session–even ones NOT identified as commissionable in the plan!
The “Editing Plan–>Commission Rates–>Payout Sales” value appeared to apply to everything in their cart–whether or not I had made it a product with a commission.
However, since I set that “Editing Plan–>Commission Rates–>Payout Sales” value to ZERO, NONE of the customer’s sales are being credited to the Affiliate. can someone please explain the structure?
