Set Shipping based on product and country

I have one product that I need to ship from the US to Canada and I want to be able to limit shipping to Canada to that one specific product and and charge a flat rate for the shipping.
I can’t see any way possible to accomplish this. Do you smarter than me people have any suggestions?

You can try to set weight limit for this shipping method (e.g. from 1000 lbs) and set product weight to 1001 lbs.

But this will affect other shipping methods if they calculate rates by weight

Thanks for your reply. the issue is the item only weighs 4 oz and I don’t want a customer to select shipping to Canada for any other item. I’ll look at your suggestion and see if that will work. None of my products are shipped by weight. I just charge a flat rate based on the dollar amount, keeps it easy.
