Hi, if I view products by list I can set in the admin side to sort by price, but i don’t seem to have an option to toggle this from the default order of asscending to decending with out actually clicking on the sort by price option in the sort by on the product listing as a customer.
What I want to do is default the entire site to list by decending not asscending as default. I am guessing there is a .tpl file i need to change a paramater on or insert a parameter override but i can’t see where I would do this.
any help would be most appriciated in pointing me in the right direction

This is actually not a template issue. The ordering is done in the /core/fn.catalog.pnp file.
Here’s an addon that will allow you to reverse the “default” sort ordering. Just install and select the sorting from the addon’s “edit” dialog.
