I’m running cs-cart 2.08 for about 3 months.
Today the Database is grow to 93MB, from where the cscart_sessions table is 85MB (with 97000 rows).
I look at this table, and found many old records, but also MANY records from bots (google bot has 29.000!) evidently not needed for anything.
how I can clear this table?, or bettter: How can I make does not increase so much?

I would like to know it too! Also how i can clear the old sessions?
You can clear the table by clicking the "remove statistics’ link in Administration->Statistics. Unfortunately, you cannot clear selectively by date.

I will say that the biggest contributor to this table becoming huge is using sitemap creating tools. The best thing to do is disable stats while creating your sitemap.

No! I already tried to do that and not change the size of the table.

I’m not using sitemaps.
And I have the statistics add-on disabled!
Hi, I think you should upgrade from v2.0.8. I was having similar problems for stored_sessions table in v2.0.8. (Large stored_sessions table with robots session data being stored within)
But now, I am at v2.0.11, where stored_sessions table no longer store sessions data from search robots (eg like googlebots)
