We very recently upgraded our websites from 2.2 to 4.2.4 and have been experiencing ongoing server lockups with cscart almost daily, requiring a reboot. Unfortunately it often corrupts database tables during the reboot.
Our 2 sites are small, the larger only about 1,500 products, few hundred visitors per day. It appears it maybe an issue with database tables locking up, but can't be sure as the logs don't show errors.
The only addons we are currently running are searchanise and twigmo.
We are running on Mysql 5.1 (myisam), PHP 5.3 and Apache 2.2.
We are working to move to a new server which will have updated PHP/Mysql software, but that is still weeks away.
It's been suggested by our admin that we move the mysql from myisam to innodb to get record locking as a possible temporary fix until we can move to the new updated server
Has anybody experienced this with something similar with 4.2.4? any issues about moving to innodb database?
