A customer makes a purchase from the “Common product” list. Then comes back next day and logs into the site, searches the same product because they are happy and would like to leave a review. Finds the “Common product” listing and leaves a review.
Then Cs-cart doesn’t know and won’t give the review a “Verified purchase” mark?
Cs-cart will only pass the mark if a customer goes to the actual vendor store and finds that product and leaves a review? Or if a customer goes into their orders and clicks on that product.
So now not only do we need to ask for reviews, but we need to bother customers with these extra steps if we want their purchases to be marked as verified?
I was unable to reproduce this issue in the latest version of CS-Cart. Once a product had been purchased, I was able to leave a review for it.
If you are referring to the Discussion add-on, the ability to add reviews for purchased products when the ‘Only buyers can post’ setting is enabled was introduced in version 4.11.5.
If a customer buys a product from the list of offers on a “common product”, and they leave a review from the common product listing, the review is not marked as verified purchase. The customer has to go to the seller and find that product then add a review then it’s marked as verified. This is the issue I’m talking about.
