Anyone know if cs-cart has an option for related products in a box.

Yes it does.
You can either use the built-in “Also bought” or manually create a new block called “related items” and all all the related products manually.
I use both of those options. The ‘also bought’ can be quickly assigned to all products and the products will fill automatically. I set up a ‘related products’ block that I have to assign to each product individually.
I wish there was a quick way to do “related” products!
ie list with tick boxes etc (multiple selection of product(s) and then multiple selection of related to product(s))
