Hi, we are launching a site in the USA soon and were thinking about creating an account with UPS.
Just wondering, if I enable the realtime shipping module for UPS (or any other carrier) does it bring back my shipping rates (the rates given when creating an account with the carrier) or does the module just return retail rates?
I noticed that the UPS module asks for a username, password and a UPS Rates Access Key. - This gives me hope that the module returns MY prices and not generic retail.
Thanks,
Scott.
The Realtime rates returned from Fedex are your companies “Contract Rates”, when setting up each individual UPS shipment method you will have the option to have either your contract rates or “List Rates” returned and displayed to your customers.
Best to dive in head first and just set up a few shipment methods for your internal testing.
Thanks Struck, thats going to save a mountain of work for our US site! No manual inputting of weight ranges, zip codes etc. Yippee!

Yeah, I remember those days, weeks of manual calculations/input used to make me suicidal!
