Rate Area question

Hi all

i have a query on the rate areas. I’ve set up the rate areas on post cards.
e.g area A: 12**,13**
some of our vendors had a specific area that they wanted to add e.g 1234
so then i created area B; 1234

Once i did that, i realised that at checkout Area A no longer includes 1234 i.e vendors that has loaded area A already need to reload area B so they can service area 1234.

Any idea why that’s the case and how we can avoid this?

Yes, this is default behaviour. Area with 1234 will have higher priority than are with 12** value
