Product variation help

Hi,

I have a question regarding Product Variation addon. I will give an example of my product and would like to hear your suggestions.

I sell shower enclosures, and I have some models where you can combine side A dimension with side B dimension to make best fit dimension. Now all products are separated and combined only in cart, so I would like to improve that with variations addon.

I would like to work with existing products and now I have products like this:

Side A 100cm
Side A 110cm
Side A 120cm
Side A 130cm
Side A 140cm
Side A 160cm

Side B 70cm
Side B 75cm
Side B 80cm
Side B 90cm
Side B 100cm

So I tried and can’t make variation of existing products with 2 feature variations (because customers must be able to choose side A and size B on same product page).
I tried with variation with making new products, and its ok, but I have a big problem with prices and stock update, I cant mannualy change and update prices and stock for that new products, that would be too much products…

Does anyone have advice for products like this?

You can try to use the import feature to update your products in bulk.

Hi,

I am using import feature for updating prices and stock, but I have product codes only for each separate product, not for combined products, so its impossible to change prices and stock like I do for regular products. I dont have that product codes in my software, so I cant export prices and stock like that, and then import them to web store… Is there solution for auto sum 2 product prices? For example Product A + Product B = Product AB , and price of that Product AB will be A+B?

I hope you understand this, and my previous questions about product variations for my specific situation.
