Just curious, how come the variants automatically generate unique SKU (CODE), but we cant do the same for the main product? There is no option to have the CODE auto generated.
Now, I am already aware that there are addons for this.

Unfortunately, there is no way to set up automatic product code generation for the main product out of the box.
