I am using inventory tracking, but can’t seem to find a simple way to show the quantity of an item in stock on the product page. There must be a simple way to do this. Instead of just “in stock” it would say “in stock - 23 available” or something like that.
Settings: Appearance:Display In stock as a field, please try to tick this checkbox.
Tried that, no change. Still just says “in stock” on the product page.

[font=Arial][size=2]This works fine in Basic theme… may be the theme you used doesn't consider the changes.[/size][/font]
[font=Arial][size=2]Try to change the theme from the Admin Panel->design->Skin selector: Choose “Basic skin” for Customer Area.[/size][/font]
