I know this may be a crazy question to ask but can anyone help explain how to setup the Product Filters and Features. I have read and re-read the manual and still do not understand it and its setup and uses. Anyone out there with a firm understanding to help break it down in simple English? Trying to do the following:
I have products that are great for Diabetics, Vegans, Kosher, Raw, etc. Want to be able to have a sort bar in the Content area for each category or Sub-Categories or maybe in the left box and allow customers to drill down to their need by using that feature. Now the question is how to set it up as I know it can be done.
Hope someone out there can please share there time and knowledge.
The manual just seems to not help me out.
Find a sample of the way I was hoping to do this…hopefully without mods
I have yet to set up our product filters so can’t really help you with that, but I know for sure to achieve the drop down filters will take some modifications outside Cs-carts intended function. This drop-down effect is very nice and I’ve been really hoping that Cs would at some point allow for this. I do believe this has been discussed before in the forum. Not sure off the top of my head if someone had posted code or not. I’ll take a look when I get home for ya.
Until then I’m sure someone here can accurately help explain the filter set-up.
