We just upgraded to 4.18.2 and from that day, we have no more conversion value in Google Ads.
Connection with Google Analytics is still running well but I think something has changed to record conversion.
We are using the add-on from cart-power Google Enhanced Ecommerce. As it was working before upgrade, I think it comes from elsewhere.
Did you manage to fix the problem or discover the source? I’ve switched to standard Google Analytics from GA Pro addon because cs-cart stopped supporting it. I have a huge drop in traffic and conversion data and I’m trying to figure out what is going on.
@ikoshkin did you have any reports in helpdesk with similar issues?
I have changed our previous add-on, and I’m using now the GTM add-on from Cart-Power. As we must use Google GTM to be compatible with Google Consentment V2.
It took me a while to reconfigure Google Tag Manager and AdWords to have conversion again but it’s now working.
Actually, I have a drop in traffic, too. But I think it’s surely because of the new consentment V2 as I am pretty sure not all customer leave everything ON.
And I am still configuring the Google Advanced Conversions. Perhaps it will help as soon as this will be done as it’s the last point that does not fully meet the goal fixed by Google.
Because of less data for targeting campaigns we’re looosing customers as well.
@ikoshkin could you add semi transparent overlay on the whole page before user doesn’t accepts or rejects the consent. I’ve checked cookiebot and other e-commerce websites and I believe that by simply improving the UX/UI you can greatly improve the acceptance rate.
