Print Reports?

Why on God’s green Earth would we not be able to print (or at least export) order reports? Or am I missing something?

Using 1.3.4sp1. Thanks!

I would also like this functionality.

I like the order reports but I wish I could save them as PDF’s.

If you can print, it’s not hard to set up a pdf generator as a printer and print to it.

Yup, a host of converters out there. I use PrimoPDF for personal use, works well.

Back to printing reports, hate to beg for more from this great cart, but printing/exporting reports should be a given. No way to code something in backend? I can’t find any tables in the database that apply either.

Thanks again.

I agree the printing really should be a priority.

I’d vote for a .csv export too. I’m finding it really handy to combine stats from a few sources to get a ‘big picture’ report, hitting all the highlights, as well as the ability to overlay specific current stats with stats from last year (could be this month over last). I’ve got a few excel files set up w/ macros that generate fresh reports sourcing .csv files exported from quickbooks, adwords, site stats and conversion tracking. Most include graphs showing overlaid data, which helps me understand how I’m doing.

I’ve just started to experiment with this, and I’m not running my shop on CS-Cart yet, but excel has a lot more power than I ever gave it credit for. Pretty easy to do too w/ a little reading.

If others are looking to print reports, I am making do by selecting text right off the screen from the table that is displayed, and cut/paste into Excel or Word. (Back in '95 it was cool to cut/paste. )

Arlen - Excel rocks.

That’s just plain mean Jesse  Feelin’ like an old fogey tryin’ to keep up with these young whipper-snappers.

Jesse - Easy there, buddy-boy. Just be impressed there are geezer 35-year-olds like myself who are actually trying to learn something new with this e-commerce and web ****. When I was 8, I sold my Post-It Note patent to 3M.

Arlen - Not mean, just cocky. That can be a good thing sometimes. You using the term “whipper-snappers” explains everything.

If my math is correct (hard to tell with my failing eyesight) I’m right at 2.2325 times older than our friend Jesse, so I’ve got ya beat in the elderly department … wipper-snappers! lol. Never too old to learn.

Bha, Youth doesn’t exist on the internets.

Well I am a webdesigner and have as many qualifications as a monkey (none) but that only gives me enough ammo to bag win95. I still played Lemmings back in the day.

At least with age you don’t get mistaken for some young kid that doesn’t know what he’s talking about :stuck_out_tongue: ,

Whipper snappers just comes across to me as a cheap form of hedge removal for some reason lol.

CSV printing I would support however just a long html page displaying all order with a PDF print capability would be good

Jesse - “Lemmings” LOL

Thanks for the help as always, mate, let me know when you get my printing mod done.
