I have given a list price to a product in admin, add product. Lets say £15.
When I view the product on the shop front it is chopping it over half for example £7.50
Could someone explain why this may be??

Do you have any Catalog promotions active which may effect some or all products, you'll find these in admin - Products > Promotions.
I think I may have sorted it, it was the currencies, with the Dollar setting the pound to half I deleted the dollar and put the base rate of the pound to 1.0000 which seemed to solve it… very odd! But thanks StellarBytes.
