its very nice and clean and simple. i like it very much. what program do you use for graphics.
The graphics are custom built in photoshop.

thats what i thought. i really like it. i didnt think you could do major changes like that to the cart, but i guess you can. thats a real testimony to how customizable the cart is.
One huge problem, no way to view your cart w/o knowing the url.
If I add a product, then wanna go browse more, I have no link to my cart.
also the product descriptions are non existant, need more info on the product itself.
and just a personal preference, i hate scrolling iframes inside a page…
otherwise its clean looking.
nice job.

i agree 100% Client here is head strong on this design. I believe there are a couple flaws with this, Also a log in, I think 2 most important things we need is to view cart and login.
I expressed my thoughts to client and hasn’t budged… Maybe little more they will listen.
thanks for your feedback guys
I hear ya, BUT, remind the client why he hired YOU. b/c YOU ARE the EXPERT in this field. not him.
Feel free to show him my comments or have him email me (t@etinteractive.com) and I will put my comments in a response.
B/c as of now, ppl will not order from this site. mostly b/c they wont be able to figure out how. LOL.
very cool design. I worry about glare though. It had this cool ‘halo’ effect, but I think my eyes started hurting after 2 mins. On a samsung 19" flatscreen.
With the focus on simplicity, I’m a little surprised that there is a ‘step 1’ and ‘step 2’. And then the ‘step 1’ sits above the price, so step 1 isnt directly connected to the actual step one, you have to ‘step over’ the price first…
cs-cart suffers from having to input the amount to purchase by using the keyboard. Its really unnecessary to use the keyboard unless theyre inputting wide ranging numbers like 100’s. For regular shoppers, all they need is a scroll down, or +/- button. Though admittedly its a cleaner design without the buttons.
For the basket, if you designed it nicely maybe the client won’t be so against it. They just need and no frills basket icon, they dont need any of the smaller links and text floating around it. The regular cs-cart basket would screw up the over all design too much. For this kind of shop practical takes a back seat to form and feel, but it doesn’t have to vanish alltogether. People don’t need to be fast and hit a check out button directly, its ok to click basket, and then checkout.
Hey! I noticed you only allowed the purchase in product details and not while just in categories looking at the thumbnails. What are the files I should be looking at to do this also? Really need it for one set of products which are image intensive, dont want all the option pictures loading in the same page.
eh, note to self: read date of thread first
found out how to stop the options and ‘buy button’ being shown in category listing. in my case it was products_multicolumns.tpl and I just added a check for product_id:
{if $settings.General.inventory_tracking == ‘Y’ && $product.amount <= 0 && $product.is_edp != ‘Y’ && $product.tracking == ‘B’}
{else}{if $product.product_id !=“1664”}
{include file=“products_pages/buy_now.tpl” product=$product form_prefix=$form_prefix but_style=“text” hide_wishlist_button=“Y”}
{/if}{/if}
i dig the site as well. very clean. although the i also do not like scrolling through iframes.
nice work =)
Very clean. I would have used an image swap when changing shirt colors instead of reloading the page. Also, you’re producing a missing “;” javascript error on this line:
```php
