Anyone want to shares the mod costs and therefore be able to have the cart?

Thanks

Martin

Martin,

What is it you are planning on having them do? I don’t see anything there that CS can’t do already.

  1. Remove product from cart button & In/decrease product in cart +/-
  2. The Css Product Fly up
  3. Cart fold up and down
  4. Neat linear display
  5. Subtotal, tax expression etc.

Thanks for the informative comment to my thread.

I don’t think the title was “Do you see anything in Prestashop you can use”

But thanks for your opinion. I’m sure a lot of people will find that helpful.

1-Cart folding (really great)

2-Tax display ( Not that useful, tax must be applied on sales inside your state, is not optional)

3-Quantity +/- (great, but what about when prices changes with quantities?)

4-Fly add to cart (great, but will work on all browsers?)

I’d like #1 and #4 as addons, but not the whole package really.

consider also cscart 2.2.1 is around the corner.

Thanks for the offer, it really expand the look and feel of the cart.

4 will work with all browsers as its css. I assume you are not talking about ie6!! lol

A lot of these carts rely on open source addons and in this one they are very hit and miss simply because they can’t keeping up with development of the main cart. I would suggest you make sure that you have a fully functional cart before you comit to anything. Thats a lot of testing that make the progress slow and bumpy.

I mean anything based on prestashop code is likely to be buggy/out of date/untested in most cases. Many of my members have come to me from installing this cart or similer and after a few weeks of frustration they find all the nice features they wanted and added don’t work as an whole.

But your not talking about prestashop, your thread title is confing, you should said something like “making a prestashop clone”

He’s just talking about creating a skin with similar layout/styling features… I think he saw the prestashop skin as a good example of what he wanted to have created.
