Sorry guys if this has been asked b4 but i could not find such. Could anyone experienced with this system help show me how the following is possible:
Is it possible to have 2 shipping Methods active…Real Time via Fedex and a Shipping calculations based on local Zip Codes?
With the Zip-Code based Shipping…we need to set up different zones(zip-code combination for particular Country/State, etc) and assign a cost for that combination and maybe also have based on order total in cart. Basically this is an example:
Configure zone 1 with zip-codes based on USA/California/90001, 90002, 90003, etc
Configure the cost for that zone based on cart total from $0.00 to $49.00, $50.00 to $99.99 = $5.00
Configure zone 2 with zip-codes based on USA/California/91100, 91102, 91103, etc
Configure the cost for that zone based on cart total from $0.00 to $49.00, $50.00 to $99.99 = $6.00
and so on and on.
If the above is clear…how can we accomplish this? By using the Location and Shipping Method/Shipping Rate feature combination? If so, where in the manual can I find such sample or direction and if not, what is the best way to accomplish the above hopefully without custom mods.
Next Question:
How can i get the tabs in the detailed page to have the labels that we want like: Desc, Warranty, etc and is it possible to have more that just 2 or 3 preconfigured tabs as I see all over sample sites running CS-Cart?
Next Question:
Is there something resident in the features of this system that can accomplish the feature seen her:

when u mouse over some of the labels in the PRODUCT FEATURE list…it displays a tool tip or tool kit…really do not know the name of that feature.
Sorry about the extended questions but just thought to get in a few of my questions to start.
Thanks Guys
is anybody here to help answer questions? Anybody administering this forum? Any help and answer to this question will be appreciated. I really thought this is an active forum…
I hope not to be proven wrong.
Thanks Guys

Yes, you use Locations and Shipping Methods to set your shipping rates. You can find general instructions here:
[url]CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation
[url]CS-Cart Documentation — CS-Cart 4.15.x documentation
You will need to create a location for each of your shipping zones using zip codes and making sure there is no overlap between locations. You will then create shipping methods (e.g., Local1, Local2) and set the charges for the location associated with that shipping method. If you use realtime shipping methods, those charges will also display as an option (e.g., FedEx and Local1 would both appear as shipping options in the checkout).

Thanks Jobosales for that response. Your time and care is truly appreciated. It seems to be working well.
Thanks a Million again.
